Ephesians 3:16-18

I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your
hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is (Ephesians 3:16-18).

Memommy's Corn Bread

I actually did not realize this recipe was handed down from my grandmother until recently.  My Aunt has made this corn bread for so long that I just assumed it was her recipe.  I absolutely LOVE this corn bread and since I have been cooking more for the family, I decided it was time to learn to make this delicious stuff!

We really enjoy cornbread around here too. Lately our favorite has been with cornmeal made out of Indian corn that we grew in our garden and then sweetened with honey from our bees. It turns out a funny color but it is really delicious!
