I actually did not realize this recipe was handed down from my grandmother until recently. My Aunt has made this corn bread for so long that I just assumed it was her recipe. I absolutely LOVE this corn bread and since I have been cooking more for the family, I decided it was time to learn to make this delicious stuff!

ReplyDeleteWe really enjoy cornbread around here too. Lately our favorite has been with cornmeal made out of Indian corn that we grew in our garden and then sweetened with honey from our bees. It turns out a funny color but it is really delicious!
